Campaign video by David Campesino
The event was then followed by campaign video launch showcasing Dresden and its local industry as vibrant and open to having talented international students & professionals as employees. The campaign video was highly appreciated by the participants present – director David Campesino and his colleagues Javier Sobremazas and Marie Neumann outdid themselves.
One of our special guests, Prof. Karl Leo from TU Dresden who was also one of the keynote speakers lauded the event and asked for everyone’s participation to successfully meet the challenges. “The purpose of our research is to change the world. The best thing we can do is make everybody work together to solve these problems, said Prof Leo.
Give international talents the good feeling that it is all right to not to speak perfect German from the beginning on.
Anke Reichardt, Head – South American Subsidiaries, DAS EE encouraged the participants to learn and let learn: “Let people know that it is normal to make mistakes. Give international talents the good feeling that it is all right to not to speak perfect German from the beginning on.”
The event also had a keynote from a very young international student cum professional from TU Dresden – Mr. Amr Tj. Wallas. “As a former international student I know, you need to embrace your past to be able to actually live the future”, he said.
Pitches from 17 companies from varied industries
The last section of the event had several pitches from 17 companies from varied industries – talking about the reasons they stand out of the crowd and why should talented international students consider them for job application. Students were thrilled to listen to the different pitches and grabbed the chance to ask their questions and doubts in the concluding part of the event which included networking along with drinks, food and music by DJ Lara Liquer.
The event, to say in nutshell, was a huge success and we cannot thank more to our campaign ambassadors, the pitchers, our esteemed key note speakers and guest and of course our participants.
